How Accident Forgiveness Works
If you have a car insurance policy with Progressive for four years, and you remain accident free for three consecutive years, we won't raise your rates because of an accident that happens after this time. Whether the accident is your fault or not, it won't cause your car insurance rates to go up when Accident Forgiveness applies to your situation. Keep in mind that Accident Forgiveness applies to the first accident only after the specified time frame.
How Much Does It Cost?
There's no charge for Accident Forgiveness — it's built into your policy as a reward for choosing Progressive as your car insurance provider.
